Kessel Racing debuts in GT Winter Series

Kessel Racing was founded by former Formula 1 driver Loris Kessel in 2000. But while Kessel died in 2010 at the age of 60 after a serious illness, his racing team has firmly established itself in the world of GT racing. The Swiss team has enjoyed success in the GT World Challenge Europe and the International GT Open, as well as taking part in the FIA WEC. The team is also a successful participant in the Ferrari Challenge.

The racing team will now make its debut in the GT Winter Series in Jerez and will enter a Ferrari 488 GT3 and a 488 Challenge Evo, which will face strong competition in the Cup 1 class.

The GT3 car will be driven by the Bochez brothers: Alexandre Bochez and Mikael Bochez. After competing in the Ferrari Challenge and the GT Cup Open, the Swiss drivers will now make their GT3 debut in the GT Winter Series. Greek driver Petros Makris will be at the wheel of the one-make cup car.
